Despite the gray skies and early challenges brought on by the rain, this year’s LA Times Festival of Books turned out to be an inspiring and energetic celebration of literature. Olympus Story House is grateful to have been part of such a vibrant event, where stories and connections flourished.
Books from our featured authors were on full display and quickly found new homes—some titles were in such high demand that they ran out early! Visiting authors had the opportunity to connect not only with readers but with one another, creating an atmosphere of shared passion and encouragement.
A special thank-you goes to Dr. Rick Randall, whose presence lit up the space with warmth and positivity. He proactively engaged with everyone, exemplifying the spirit of community we aim to build at every event. Our book-signing authors, Mic Lowther, Dorris Woods, Nancy Hicks Marshall , Edward Corcoran, Ines Beilke, and Delores Dillard also spent time with attendees, signing copies and sharing stories face-to-face.
We thank everyone who dropped by the booth, braved the weather, and joined in this celebration of books and ideas. Olympus Story House exerted every effort to ensure our titles reached more hands, and we are hopeful for all the good fruit this event will bear.
Check out some of our favorite moments below—and we can’t wait to see you again next year!
